38 different flowers carefully selected by Dr. Edward Bach (1886 - 1936) to address emotional states.

What Are Bach Flower Remedies?

Bach Flower Remedies are a gentle, natural system of flower-based essences developed in the 1930s by Dr. Edward Bach, a British physician and homeopath. They are designed to support emotional well-being and inner balance rather than to treat physical symptoms or illnesses.

Each remedy corresponds to a specific emotional state—such as fear, uncertainty, sadness, impatience, or overwhelm—and works subtly to help restore harmony between mind and emotions. The philosophy behind Bach Flowers is simple: when our emotional world is balanced, we are better able to face life’s challenges with clarity, resilience, and calm.

How do Bach Flower remedies work and what are they for?

Bach Flower Remedies are non-toxic, non-habit-forming, and suitable for people of all ages, including children, pregnant women, animals, and plants. They can be used in conjunction with other forms of care or personal development practices. Unlike phytotherapy, they have no organic impact; therefore, there is no risk of intolerance or allergy. Similar to homoeopathy, Bach Flower Remedies are believed to work on an energetic level, through subtle vibrational frequencies rather than chemical action. Each flower essence carries the energetic pattern of a specific emotional quality, which interacts with the body’s own energy field to gently rebalance emotional states. By resonating with areas of inner imbalance, the remedies support your emotional transitions, such as stress, grief, change, or personal growth, shifting from limiting emotions toward their more harmonious counterparts, encouraging greater emotional coherence and self-regulation.

There is a flower or a plant for each human emotion: any kind of fear, rage, intolerance, insecurity about yourself, unwished social features, ruminating, intrusive thoughts

How a Bach Flower Consultant Can Help

As a Bach Flower consultant, I offer guidance in choosing the most appropriate remedies for your unique emotional landscape. Rather than focusing on diagnoses or labels, the consultant listens carefully to how you feel, how you react to situations, and what patterns may be repeating in your life.

Here is my formula

Through a first one-to-one consultation, I will help you assess your general situation. We will need a second session to make an accurate evaluation in order to:

  • Identify the emotional states influencing your well-being

  • Gain greater awareness of your inner responses and needs

  • Select a personalised Bach flower remedy or a combination of them

You will need to take the remedies for a couple of weeks, and we will meet afterwards to evaluate their effects. At this point, the first treatment might have unveiled other emotions, hence I could consider adding or replacing certain remedies.

The consultation itself is often a reflective and supportive space—one that encourages self-understanding as much as balance. The remedies then act as a gentle companion in this process, supporting emotional shifts at your own pace.

A Holistic, Person-Centred Approach

Bach Flower work is not about fixing what is “wrong,” but about nurturing what is already present within you. A consultant does not replace medical or psychological care, but complements it by addressing the emotional dimension of your experience with sensitivity and respect. Nonetheless, holding an MSc degree in Psychology, I will also be able to support you through a more in-depth psychological treatment, if necessary.

If you are seeking a natural, compassionate approach to emotional well-being, Bach Flower Remedies—guided by a trained consultant—can offer quiet yet meaningful support.
