"Look into yourself. Do not compare, do not measure. No other way is like yours. All other ways deceive and tempt you. You must fulfill the way that is in you." (Carl Gustav Jung, The Red Book).

What is "Therapy"?
The ancient root of the word "therapy" traces back to the Greek 'therapeia', which means "tending" or "caring for." This term is derived from therapon, which refers to a servant or an attendant, someone who offers care, aid, or support, be it medical treatment, spiritual healing, or general assistance.
Over time, as the word evolved, therapy became more associated with specific forms of medical treatment, especially in Western languages. The essence of the term, however, still retains its roots connected to nurturing and restoring balance, health, and harmony in the body and mind.
Philosophical analyst - Soul counselor
An existential approach to therapy like mine refers to the application of philosophical thinking and practices as a means of addressing personal and existential challenges. Rooted in the traditions of ancient philosophy, philosophical therapy seeks to use reason and reflection to deepen self-awareness, enhance inner resources, and cultivate a meaningful life.
The term "philosophical therapy" draws from the idea that philosophy is not just an academic discipline but an approach already used by philosophers like Socrates, Epictetus who focused on the importance of cultivating virtue, understanding human nature, and navigating the complexities of existence.
By critically examining one's thoughts, understanding the nature of desire, and developing emotional resilience, individuals can change the way they respond to life's challenges. Philosophical therapy is not about providing easy answers or quick fixes; rather, it encourages the practice of wisdom and the development of a thoughtful, reflective mindset that leads to greater clarity and peace.

Couples Therapy
Are you experiencing tensions in your couple?
Lack of communication?
Are you feeling angry, neglected, or not listened to?
Is your couple entering a new phase and do you want to be ready for that and need support?
Are you newly married, newly become a parent, have teenage children, have children left home, feel you are aging, facing a new professional situation, have health issues, or are you having a complex adaptation to your host country?

Specialised in family mediation, I can help you see your situation from a different perspective and find new ways to re-establish harmony in your couple.
Should your partner be skeptical about coming to therapy, we can work individually to help you find new resources.
Should you have already decided to separate from your partner, I can offer support to a possibly smooth transition individually or as a couple.
